Promotional
Products are any items imprinted with a logo or message.
From pens to t-shirts, caps and fleece jackets and more,
promotional products drive your message home and leave a
lasting impression.
Long after a potential customer meets you and months after the annual meeting or the employee motivation program, people will remember your company and the event whenever they use or see the item they received then. A 1997 industry survey found that 95% of business executives have in their offices at least one promotional product with another business' logo on it.
That's a lot of staying power and it's one reason that promotional products are increasingly used by businesses. In 1998 sales in the promotional products industry grew to $13 billion from 11.9 billion in 1997. Promotional products encourage, inspire and remind while advertising and/or promoting a company and its message. And businesses are using them for that and more.
Promotional products are used mostly as business gifts. The 1998-99 State of the Industry Survey, conducted by The Counselor® magazine, the news magazine for promotional marketing and specialty advertising management, found that business gifts were the Number 1 use of promotional products.

For Promotional Products
Searching
for products is easy. Our product search consists of 5
search options that can be used separately or in combination
with each other. Those search options
are:

Results
When searching for products, you will have more success if you only use the most important search options, and leave the others at their default settings. Do not feel as though you need to select something for each option. For example, if you need letter openers for $1.00 or under, you will get more products to choose from by selecting a category and price range, without using the other search criteria. Being too specific might rule out items that would work perfectly for your promotion, but their description varies slightly from what you are currently have in mind.
Choosing
a Product Category
To
choose a product category, think of the most basic element
of the product that you require. For example, if you are
looking for a green ceramic coffee mug, the word "mug" would
be the product itself, and the words "green", "ceramic", and
"coffee" are words used to describe the mug. Once you
determine what this basic element is, scroll down our list
of pre-selected categories until you find one that matches.
If you scroll down the category list, you will see the
category "mugs and steins", which you can then select by
highlighting it with your cursor. Sometimes you will be
looking for an item, but you can't find it in our category
listing. If this happens, consider other words that might be
used to mean the same thing as the product you require. For
example, another word for a hat is a cap. When I scroll down
the categories I do not see the word "hat", but if I check
under caps I find "caps and hats". I can then select the
"caps & hats" category to do the search that I need. If
you continue to have difficulty choosing a category, just
leave the product category box at its default setting of
"all" and try searching by keyword. See below for some quick

Wordsearch
The
keyword search can be used on its own, or together with any
other of our search options. You can specify the adjectives
that describe the object that you need in the box, then use
the pulldown box to the right to specify how the search
should handle those words. This pulldown box lists the
options "exact phrase", "all words", and "any words". The
"exact phrase" selection will search only for items that
include your keywords exactly in the order in which they've
been entered in the box. "All words" would look for items
whose descriptions include all the words that have been
entered, but those words can appear in any order. Finally,
the "any words" selection will search for matches that have
at least one word that you've typed in the keyword search

Use our pre-selected price ranges to find items that fit in
your budget. Since exact pricing is based on the quantity
you require, the type of imprinting needed, shipping
charges, and other factors, we will need to confirm the
final price after we receive your request.

Production Time
Do you need your products in a hurry? You can narrow down
your search by ruling out suppliers that cannot meet your
deadline. Production time is listed in days.
Search
Results
Once you click the "Search" button, the product lines that
carry the products you are looking for will be listed.
Select the product line you are interested in and review
their product listing. To view the item and the quantity
pricing, click on the highlighted item number.
Adding
Products to the Shopping Cart
If
you would like to buy or just need additional information
about a particular product, add it to your shopping cart by
selecting either "Buy Item" or "Need Info" on individual
product detail pages. You can then send your shopping cart
list. If you are buying the item, we ask that you select the
quantity you would like to order, color and size information
and custom imprinting instructions. Once completed, you can
review the contents of your shopping cart where the pricing
of your items are calculated. The pricing on our site does
not include additional pricing, such as set-up charges,
shipping, taxes, etc.
Checking
Out
When you have completed your shopping, you will need to send
your shopping cart list. By selecting the "Check Out" button
on the "Shopping Cart" page, you will arrive at an order
form to complete your check out process. Fill out the secure
order form with your shipping and billing instructions. Your
order or request for information will automatically be sent
to us and we will contact you to confirm your order or
answer your questions.
Indicates
that there is a web site, or web catalog, available for the
particular product line shown with this icon. Clicking on
the icon will link you through to a web site featuring
products from that specific line. Once there, you can browse
the catalog to review featured products from the line in
further detail. Click on "Enter Our Shopping Site" to select
items from this site and add them to your shopping cart. If
you would like to return to the search criteria you had
previously entered, use the "Back" button on your web
browser.
Sending
Your Shopping Cart
By
selecting the "Check Out" button on the Shopping Cart
screen, you will arrive at secure order form to complete
your check out process. Fill out the secure order form with
your shipping and billing instructions. Your order or
request for information will automatically be sent to us and
we will contact you shortly.
Secure
Ordering
Our
shopping cart feature uses the latest in encryption
technology to ensure that hackers cannot access transactions
with your credit card numbers. The encryption software on
your browser is called a public key and it codes the message
so it can only be opened with our private key. This way,
even if a hacker manages to intercept that one of hundreds
of thousands of emails sent at that second, your message
can't be unscrambled without our private key.
At the top of the shopping cart's Check Out screen, the beginning of the address reads https:// instead of the usual http://. The 's' means that the site is encrypted and the data will be transmitted securely.
If you are using Netscape Navigator as your browser, a broken key or an open padlock (depending on the version of your browser) is at the bottom lefthand-corner of your screen. Microsoft Internet Explorer has an open padlock at the bottom lefthand corner of your screen. When a site is secured, the key on Netscape's browser appears unbroken (or the padlock appears locked) and the padlock on Internet Explorer appears locked.
When you check out, a message might pop up and warn you that the data you are about to submit may not be secure. This is a standard message that is part of your browser package. Rest assured that it is secured on our site, and hit "OK" to continue.

We Use Cookies
We
use cookies for one reason only: to ensure the functionality
of the shopping cart. We assign you a unique session ID
number along with some other minor tracking information in a
single cookie. This cookie is NOT saved to your hard disk
drive and is erased from your computer's memory (RAM) after
you close your web browser. We do not extract any private or
personal information from your computer.
